Lil' Swimmers

It's official now, we've had our first two swimmers in the pool. Everyday the girls have been dying to get in the pool, and everyday it has been either too cold, raining, or the pool wasn't ready. To get a moment of peace from all the begging, I randomly said "Just wait until June, then it will be warm enough to swim." Well as you know today is the 2nd day of June, and my girls just thought they would spontaneously combust if they couldn't swim. I tried to tell them it was still too cold, but would they listen? NO. So sometimes you just gotta give them what they want.
"Ten minutes," I tell you, "Ten minutes!" That is how long they swam. It took them 20 minutes to find their swimsuits, get changed, blow up the fishy ring, put on sunscreen, and for what? "Ten minutes of freezing cold swimming!" Ha, that'll fix 'em.
Now Erin is in a hot jacuzzi bath, and Sissy is at the table sipping hot cocoa. MERCY, but hey, they got to swim, and they are content!
