Recently Bill purchased what we call his "man-grill" and things at our house have not been the same ever since. For the most part I love this new toy of his. Who can complain when your husband is preparing the main course for dinner almost every night? His favorite things to cook are pork ribs! When we eat ribs we call it the "Dermody Pork-Fest!" We have had fun eating burgers, brats, chicken, and even a venison smoked roast (which wasn't really all that great)!
We had the missionaries over for dinner one night and Bill wanted to grill them some "man-food" on his new toy. He got home from work later than expected, and so the coals were not heating up quickly enough to have the food ready to eat at the appointed time. Bill hatched an ingenious plan that involved an extension cord and my hair dryer. He smartly asked to use the hair dryer and I consented. What's the worst thing that could happen, right? No, the hair dryer didn't end up falling into the coals and catching fire, but it now blows smoke scented hot air. It is just lovely to take a shower, put on some nice smelling lotion or maybe even some perfume, and add some equally good smelling product to your hair only to top it all off with a hint of smoke. I remember my exact words to my darling husband when I first discovered the new capabilities of my hair dryer, "William Joseph Dermody! Arrrrgh! My hair dryer smells like your stinkin' BBQ pit!" Now, that is true ever-lasting love for ya!

That totally cracks me up about your blow dryer. Could be time for his and hers blowdryers:)
That puppy needs a supercharger.
